His Way Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

His Way                              Clara Mitchell 11/15/24 When I step out of the way-- New poetry is on the way. Jesus is a way maker. His ways prevent lost poetry. How many sunken poetry treasures, Lost in a sea of writer's blocks? Pages sink deeper-- The blocks build over time. Revision makes a way to revive Lost blocks of time. One block at a time Fills new pages of poetry. Words find their place when they fit. God knows the value of a word fitly spoken- "they are like apples of gold." Proverbs 25:11 A poet has riches untold. Words find places to fit like things in a room. If I block the word or place, The entire flow will slow. There is a flow chart to follow for each new poem. Words flow into place. The writer's block can no longer build. The blocks have no more place. Now I can pick up where I left off.

A Lighthearted Poem about Love:) by Clara Mitchell 11/23/2024

A Lighthearted Poem about Love:)      by Clara Mitchell 11/23/2024 I fill my inkwells as often as I water my plants. Both need my attention to live and grow. My quill rests between stanzas and words. A new thought lifts the quill to find the inkwell. The quill at one time provided hours of writing. One molted feather still in flight as words appear on the page. The black ink is bold and cold. I hope to make up for this loss with colorful words.  The ink remains a constant black that easily stands out on my paper. The dark ink cloaks my words, While the colored ink gives rise to be seen. I add several splashes of color across the page. In the end, the colors do not carry the poem. Readers embrace the words. The first stanzas words are like a melody Of words that lead us into a dance. Our hearts pound and skip a beat. Yes, we all can fall in love with words. Cupid has arrows. A poet has words. Either way, love has made a way.

Words by Clara Mitchell

A poet lives in a world of words, That spills over into many tomorrows.  Each tomorrow becomes a new day  And the beat and meter go on.  The one at the table who spills the beans  Is an expression for sharing something hidden.  Those at the table gasp  And put their hands over their mouth.  Words carry power for good or evil.  I think about my words to God during the day. I think about my prayers to Him.  I never feel ignored.  I look for a dialogue to begin between God and me.  Having dialogue with God is the most pleasant of conversations. God listens as I share my heart.  I listen as God shares His heart-- Giving me a Psalm, a song, or scriptures.  At the end of our conversation,  God is still there if I decide to add more. Whenever I wake up or wherever I travel,  I can start the same conversation or begin a new dialogue. God is always there to listen  And console me with His great wisdom. I still need...

Empty Words by Clara Mitchell

Would my words suit you If I added music? Words alone are like a mute button-- Unless they speak to you. Empty means there is no more. Empty words, they have no core. Neither can they heal the sore. Words that speak to me are wrapped in wisdom. Wisdom like the anointing, Destroys empty words. Today, I pray for words that hit the spot. Not Words that bring me to naught.

To Blog or Not to Blog

by Clara Mitchell   To be or not to be? Hamlet's question is still and remains very interesting. What if God had asked the same question at the start of creation? Instead of Light be, what if He had asked Light be or not to be? God was teaching us as our creator from the get go. Words can create what we cannot see. Words when spoken create an energy around us. The energy takes shape to form our world. Our faith in God's Word is activated as we decree it. Faith builds on scriptures and it is a substance. In today's language it is a controlled substance. Faith is in God's control and we wait for His Word to activate. God aligns us to His will for His glory. His plan is always higher than our own. Seeking God requires anyone one of us to believe. Without faith, we cannot please God. But with faith many rewards are given by God To those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
