Farewell ~ Time is Short by Clara Mitchell 10/25/2024

 Hello everyone! Or perhaps I should say ~ Farewell! I believe the Rapture is almost here. My joy reminds me of the verses in Psalm 126 "we were like them that dream". I also share sorrow for those of us caught in the warfare of these times both naturally and spiritually. It has been draining for us all. 

I have posted some spiritual poetry here to uplift, encourage and hopefully pry open a few hearts to seek the Lord for His truth. Now is the time to repent and seek truth. Jesus made a way for all of us to be forgiven of our sin. The Bible says today is the day of Salvation--allow God to soften hard hearts and enter into His Kingdom with repentance and expectation. It is a personal relationship that forms a covenant between Jesus and His sheep! He truly is a good shepherd. 

It's never too late-I love the parable of the penny. The late hire worked a shorter shift but was given the same pay as those who put in more time. No telling what God has in store for us when we approach His throne in repentance. We are saved by grace through faith, not of ourselves...Ephesian 2:8-9. 

I hope and pray that God's Holy Spirit will continue to empower us to conquer sin and take dominion over all the enemy. His name has authority and power to deliver us from demonic attacks. Pray for deliverance, avoid sin and the devil has nothing to work with when we don't play into the lies. If we decide to play and enjoy the pleasures of sin, then the devil will camp out in our lives and eventually crush us from being free. God wants us to know the truth that sets us free. The Devil wants to lie to us and so the war rages on but God has given us His Holy Spirit and the Word of God to combat into Victory!! Yes, it is warfare but life is short, eternity is forever. I pray in Jesus' name, set the captives free Jesus, we all need your deliverance especially in these dark times of sorrow and violence. Protect us dear Lord and help us to pray and fast to not enter into temptation. Your will be done Lord Jesus, and everyone says, Amen.

  by Clara Mitchell   To be or not to be? Hamlet's question is still and remains very interesting. What if God had asked the same question at the start of creation? Instead of Light be, what if He had asked Light be or not to be? God was teaching us as our creator from the get go. Words can create what we cannot see. Words when spoken create an energy around us. The energy takes shape to form our world. Our faith in God's Word is activated as we decree it. Faith builds on scriptures and it is a substance. In today's language it is a controlled substance. Faith is in God's control and we wait for His Word to activate. God aligns us to His will for His glory. His plan is always higher than our own. Seeking God requires anyone one of us to believe. Without faith, we cannot please God. But with faith many rewards are given by God To those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Winds of Change Continue

Winds of Change Continue         by Clara Mitchell 4/21/2024 Am I losing my touch? I mean, am I out of touch? My mood moves like a child's swing, What is pushing me to go higher? Is it God or is it me, Or is it both? My life is going in many new directions. It is because of the winds of change set over me. The winds will die down soon- As soon as the changes take hold of me. Until that time, I am looking down from a whirlwind. What changes will God arrange That cause such mighty winds to blow? Is there a way to know my next? I am held in suspense by a spiritual whirlwind. The Holy Spirit calls me to deeper faith. I am no longer looking down from this whirlwind. When I grow in faith, I cannot remain the same. Over time, other winds of change Will remove more doubt and unbelief. Faith lifts me higher. Now I can move mountains. The Holy Spirit is my guide into all truth. (John 16:13) He sends the winds of change at the right time.

At the Beach by Clara Mitchell

  The sand is soft on the soles of my feet.  My thoughts are drifting into sand dunes.  One thought takes me back--  to my summer days at the beach.   Then I hear the scripture, “Time is short”. (I Cor 7:29 KJV)  This scripture is like a Clarion Bell calling all of us--  Single or married to serve. Day dreamers will miss their turn to serve. Day planners serve while there are still open windows of time to fill.
